The radiologist Referred to as a radiologic technologist acquires medical images. The “radiographer comment” or “preliminary image evaluation” offers an immediate preliminary response to a clinical inquiry, which is then followed by a final, radiologist-led diagnostic report. The picture archiving and communication system (PACS) stores digital copies of medical images.
